Final submission guidelines
Submit your ONE-PAGE ABSTRACT and EXTENDED ABSTRACT OR FULL PAPER
(You can access your submission with the passcode you received in your acceptance notification.)
The deadline for submitting:
- One-page abstract
- Extended abstract OR
- Full paper
is 15 March 2025.
Please follow these guidelines and instructions:
1) One-page Abstract of the Poster:
The abstract should provide a concise summary of your poster content, formatted as follows:
- Poster Title: No more than 10 words – centred, 12pt Times New Roman, bold, and in title case (capitalizing the first letter of main words).
- Lead Author: Name, position, organisation – centred, 12pt Times New Roman.
- Contact Details: Full address, phone number, email, and website – centred, 12pt Times New Roman.
- Co-Authors: Name, position, and organisation only – centred, 12pt Times New Roman.
- Abstract Content: Maximum 500 words (to fit on a single page) centred, 12pt Times New Roman.
Format the Poster Abstract by using the following headings:
- Questions we care about (Objectives)
- Approach
- Results
- Implications
- Value/Originality
- Key Words: Up to six key words – centred 12pt Times New Roman
The one-page abstract will be included in the book of abstracts.
2) Extended Abstract:
The extended abstract should provide detailed insights into the research or topic and adhere to the following specifications:
- Length: Maximum of 2,500 words (excluding references, tables, and figures), single-spaced, fully justified, 12pt Times New Roman.
Structure and Content:
The extended abstract should include the following sections and subcategories:
Title and Author Information:
- Repeat the title, authors, and affiliations from the one-page abstract.
Introduction (300-400 words):
- State the question you care about (objectives) and relevance of the topic.
- Highlight the importance of the study for entrepreneurship education research or practice.
Background and Theoretical Framework (400-500 words):
- Provide an overview of relevant literature and theoretical underpinnings.
- Identify gaps in existing research that your work addresses.
Methodology/Approach (400-500 words):
- Describe the methods, data collection, and analysis techniques used in the study.
- Explain why the selected methodology is suitable for addressing the research objectives.
Findings and Discussion (800-1,000 words):
- Present key results, insights, and outcomes.
- Use visuals (e.g., tables, figures, or graphs) where applicable to enhance clarity.
- Discuss the implications of the findings in the context of existing research or practice.
Conclusions and Implications (300-400 words):
- Summarize the key takeaways from your study.
- Highlight the practical and theoretical contributions of your research.
- Suggest potential areas for future research.
References:
- Use Harvard-style referencing. Include references in alphabetical order at the end of the document.
Formatting Instructions for the Extended Abstract:
- Headings: Use bold, left-aligned headings in Times New Roman.
- Page Numbers: Include page numbers, right-aligned in the footer, 12pt Times New Roman.
- Tables and Figures: Ensure all visuals are clear, labelled, and referenced in the text.
3) Full Research Paper:
- Main Text: Maximum 7,000 words, excluding tables, figures & references – single spaced, fully justified, 12pt Times New Roman
- Pages: Title, author information and abstract page, full text, tables, figures references etc, all to fit on 20 pages maximum
- Subtitles: Left aligned in Times New Roman bold
- Page Numbering: Right aligned in footer, in 12pt Times New Roman font
- Citation and Referencing: Harvard Style (Jones, 2003), in 12pt Times New Roman font.
- References should be listed in full at the end of the paper in alphabetical order.
Submission Deadlines:
- One-page Abstract: 15 March 2025.
- Extended Abstract: 15 March 2025 or
- Full Paper: 15 March 2025.
Submissions that meet these deadlines will be included in the conference program.
Please note! Poster presenters will be asked to bring the poster to the conference. We will send instructions for the poster once the final submissions have been received.
